Kenneth M. Greene Printer-Friendly

Kenny Greene focuses his practice on commercial finance, banking and bankruptcy. He works closely with both national and regional banks, commercial lenders, finance companies and factors on important issues that impact the profitability of their operations. He documents and closes secured loans, restructures troubled loans, supports insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings and resolves issues involving creditors’ rights.

Kenny is a past president and current fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL). He also served on two task forces established by the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association – one to create a model agreement governing the control of account deposits and another to create model agreements for first and second intercreditor liens.

Kenny is the author of the North Carolina chapters of the Commercial Lending Law sections of Commercial Lending Law, Second Edition: A Jurisdiction-by-Jurisdiction Guide to U.S. and Canadian Law (2016), and The Law of Guaranties, A Jurisdiction-by-Jurisdiction Guide to U.S. and Canadian Law (2013), both published by the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He also co-authored the chapter on North Carolina receiverships in the treatise Strategic Alternatives For and Against Distressed Businesses (2018), published by Thomson/Reuters/West.

Before joining Carruthers & Roth, Kenny served in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the United States Navy.
